Timeline of Jessica’s Disappearance.

Jessica Zrinski, 30, from Sydney’s southwest, was last seen in the Bossley Park area at about 10pm on Sunday, November 27, 2022.

Police were alerted on December 3, 2022 when family members were unable to contact or locate her.

Officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command initially made inquiries into the matter before detectives from the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad took over the investigation into Zrinski’s disappearance.

Further inquiries revealed she was in a hotel carpark on Mimosa Rd at Greenfield Park at about 10pm on Monday, November 28, 2022.

She was last seen leaving the carpark in a blue Holden Commodore station wagon 10 minutes later.

The vehicle was headed west on the M4 motorway and Great Western Highway, towards the Blue Mountains, according to NSW Police.

Authorities released CCTV footage and images of the vehicle in the hope of it reaching motorists who might remember seeing it on Monday, November 28, 2022 or Tuesday, November 29, 2022.

Homicide Squad Commander and Detective Superintendent Danny Doherty said detectives were still investigating Zrinski’s whereabouts after the vehicle arrived in the Blue Mountains region.

On Friday, May 5, 2023, investigators launched a land search in the Hampton State Forest about 25km north of Jenolan in central-west NSW as part of the ongoing investigations.

Detectives believe Jessica may have entered or visited the state forest sometime after getting into the Holden Commodore.

The extensive search included officers from PolAir, the Dog Unit, the Rescue and Bomb Disposal Unit along with SES and NSW RFS volunteers.

The search of the 5,200-hectare forest continue through to Sunday, May 7, 2023.
